Project Description:
Arte Construction completed the external wall remediation of the Swish Building 17 weeks ahead of programme. The works included removing the existing EPS insulated render system, installing a new A-rated render system with non-combustible insulation, undertaking structural repairs and replacing decking.

The occupied building’s location beside a busy road junction and operational railway required close coordination with highway authorities and Transport for London. Controlled deliveries, protected pedestrian routes and railway asset protection arrangements supported safe working while maintaining access to homes and ground-floor retail units.
Arte coordinated the Gateway 2 submission and secured Building Safety Regulator approval. During construction, close collaboration with the design team also resolved a balcony coping detail through the project’s change-control process.
